White House: Trump "Does Not Rule Out" Any Actions in War, Including Deploying Ground Forces
Svmuu News White House Press Secretary Levitt stated on Tuesday that President Trump "does not rule out" various options in the war with Iran, including deploying U.S. troops in Iran. "As for the deployment of ground forces, the President has spoken about it many times. As Commander-in-Chief, he wisely does not rule out any options. So, I reiterate, I am cautious about what any Democrat on Capitol Hill is currently saying about the President's thoughts," Levitt said. She appeared to be referring to comments made earlier today by Democratic senators, including Richard Blumenthal, on Capitol Hill. After receiving a briefing on Iran, Blumenthal stated: "We seem to be on a path toward deploying U.S. ground forces in Iran to achieve any potential objectives."
