Svmuu News: Abulikemu Abulimiti, Vice President of Lenovo Group and Chief Strategy Officer of Lenovo China, stated that in the long term, there is still significant room for growth in demand for AI computing power—both in China and overseas markets—and there is no sign of an oversupply of computing power. He noted that the number of mature, leading AI products for the consumer (C-end) market is currently limited, and the potential for commercial deployment in the enterprise (B-end) sector has not yet been fully realized. He added that the growth dividends from past productivity revolutions have all been driven by the industrial sector, and that demand for computing power will remain enormous in the long term.
He also noted that the current AI industry chain suffers from excessive influence on the supply side and an imbalance in the supply-demand cycle. In related news, Meta’s recent decision to open up its computing power has sparked market concerns about a potential surplus of computing power. (Yicai)
