Svmuu News: According to Barclays’ baseline forecast, the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged through the end of 2027. However, Barclays’ strategists still believe the risks are tilted toward rate hikes.The strategists noted that the latest minutes from the Federal Reserve’s policy meeting highlighted participants’ growing concerns about inflation and the risk of it remaining persistently high.The strategists noted: “While participants expect inflation to ease, they believe the risk of persistently high inflation remains, partly due to strong demand for AI-related investments.” Meanwhile, participants remain divided on the future direction of policy.
