Svmuu News: Reports indicate that Tencent is in talks to become the largest shareholder of Manus, a general AI agent company. According to the reports, a consortium of Chinese investors led by Tencent is set to repurchase all of Manus’s shares from Meta at a valuation of approximately $2 billion. A reporter sought confirmation from Tencent, but as of press time, Tencent had not responded. Another source familiar with the matter revealed that following the transaction, Tencent will retain its status as a minority shareholder but will not hold a controlling stake.
